Cologne 2015: In the midst of a murder investigation, police commissioner Richard Lenders makes a confusing discovery. A team of particle physicists is convened to help the puzzled cop make sense of the complex formulas that were found on the lifeless body. During the ensuing autopsy, Lenders finds out that the victim had a chip implanted in his head. Is it possible that the dead man came from another time? Does the uncovered chip make time travel a reality? Another murder occurs, this time it seems to add up to a pattern. But who’s behind the deaths, and is there a connection between the victims? Can Lenders use the chip to find the killer and rewrite his own past in the process? A cracking good German science fiction thriller!
