In a small church in Eastern German Halberstadt the organ plays avantgarde composer’s John Cage "Organ 2/ASLSP" – as slow as possible, day and night until the year 2640.
The humorous documentary shows the unorthodox project through different views of people involved. While the initiators lead intellectual debates on the handling of time, many helping hands have to see to the practical side of the project. The director was mainly interested in the perception of time.
