A single mother decides to go on a trip from Santiago to the north of Chile with her only son – a trip thru the overwhelming landscape of the South American country as well as thru the past and the future. They’re going to meet up with the child’s father after ten years apart. The trip is plagued
by silence, with only little dialogues, as this earnest film is starring solitary, introverted characters. The key elements surrounding this re-encounter are the subtleties and details, the furtive glances and the things left unsaid, yet still clear. In 2009, Martín’s film debut was awarded as best Chilean film at the International Film Festival of Santiago de Chile.
