On the second day of exground filmfest we’ll present a full programme starting from noon at Caligari FilmB\u00fchne. Make sure not to miss these highlights:<\/p>\n

At 5.30 pm exground youth days kick off with GIRL<\/strong><\/a> by Lukas Dhont \u2013 a film about\u00a015-year-old Lara who wants to become a ballerina, with a classical training for female dancers. But there is one problem: Lara was born into the body of a boy. A body that she will push to its limits in order for her to succeed. The exhausting training sessions force Lara to harm herself, which in turn puts her plans for surgery in jeopardy.<\/p>\n

As part of the section “Made in Germany” Murnau-Filmtheater will screen the european premiere of\u00a0 DEVOTION<\/strong><\/a> by Pablo Kaes at 8 pm. It tells the story of the couple Julia and Franz and how their lives changes after a fatal night. We are happy to welcome many cast and crew members such as director Pablo Kaes, actors Luise Wolfram, Rainer Sellien and Sarah Schmidt as well as dop Stephan Buske.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
