What happens when one’s own friends and relatives play themselves in a film? Ivana returns to her Serbian hometown seeking quiet and an improvement to her health. Yet, with her family and friends, little of that can be found. Comical generational conflicts abound throughout the film, coming to a head when Ivana “the Terrible” is selected as poster girl for the city’s annual festival of Romanian-Serbian friendship.
