A mother is caught stealing. When she finally voices her frustration about the birth and care of her child, the arresting detective forgets the task at hand.

Pola Beck was born in Berlin in 1982. After working in various internships and jobs in the film industry, she spent a year at the European Film College in Denmark in 2003. From 2005 to 2011, she studied directing at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF in Potsdam. She has shot on location in Denmark, Mexico and Iran – both for fiction features and documentary films. She has also worked for many years on the side as a portrait photographer. She lives in Berlin.
