Every year we lose up to 58,000 species of animals, caused by human impact on nature. This situation is urgent.
Melissa Klingelhöfer, born in 1987 in Russelsheim/Germany, studied communication design with a focus on photography, film and illustration at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden. From 2013 to 2014, she did an Erasmus year at the University of Malta in Msida, completing her degree in Wiesbaden in 2015. Since then she has worked as an independent filmmaker and composer as well as freelance in the areas of film editing, photography, design and illustration. With her film LEBENS*WERT she won exground filmfest’s Wiesbaden Special – Short Film Competition in 2015. In 2017, she completed her first feature-length documentary film, GRENZEN ZUR STILLE.
