Morten Traavik ist ein norwegischer Künstler und Regisseur, der an einem breiten Spektrum an Themen arbeitet. Ausgebildet wurde er als Theaterregisseur in Russland und Schweden. Seine Filme über Landminenüberlebende, MISS LANDMINE ANGOLA (2008) und MISS LANDMINE CAMBODIA (2009), machten weltweit Schlagzeilen und sorgten für Diskussionen. Zudem erlangte er Bekanntheit mit kontrovers diskutierten, gemeinsamen Projekten mit nordkoreanischen Künstlern und Kulturbehörden.

Uģis Olte ist ein Cutter und Filmregisseur aus Lettland, der gerne spielerisch mit ernsten Themen umgeht. Er hat für das Fernsehen eigene Formate entworfen, Musikvideos und Werbefilme sowie drei Kurzfilme gedreht. Vor der Zusammenarbeit mit Morten Traavik drehte er bereits zwei Dokumentarfilme: STUCK IN STIKINE (2007) und DOUBLE ALIENS (2015).
