von Yony Leyser
Drehbuch: Yony Leyser, Kamera: Danielle Mathias, Schnitt: Kathrin Brinkmann, Ilko Davidov, Produktion: Desire Productions, Totho, Produzent: Thomas Janze, mit: John Waters, Beth Ditto, Kim Gordon, Peaches, Bruce LaBruce
Motto: Making Homocore great.“ (Viennale 2017)
„I think [the film] has a mainstream appeal“, said Leyser, having premiered QUEERCORE at UK’s Sheffield Doc/Fest in June. „I think the audience is maybe more for music lovers, than LGBTQ. I really think it’s a film for everyone. It’s a global story about creating a revolution for everyone and seeing that these people were able to do that.“ (Yony Leyser in NBC News)
Der Dokumentarfilm QUEERCORE: HOW TO PUNK A REVOLUTION gewann beim Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival den Felix Prize.
