Two craftspeople was given the commission, to build parts of a concentration camp. A film production company is shooting in the neighborhood.
Jannis Alexander Kiefer, born in 1989 in Berlin, studied at the Beuth Hochschule in Berlin. Since 2016, he has studied directing at the KONRAD WOLF Film University of Babelsberg. His first-year film at the academy, COMMENTS, has been screened around the world at over 80 festivals and won several awards. His next short film, KAISER, won the Bild Kunst Award at the 53rd Hof International Film Festival. With his home-office film MEETING, he won the German Short Film Award and came in third place in the 2020 German Short Film Competition at exground filmfest. KOLLEGEN is his diploma film at the Film University of Babelsberg.
