Danila Lipatov, born in 1989 in Moscow/Russia, initially received a degree as a certified translator from the Moscow State University of Linguistics. From 2016, he studied experimental film and performance at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. Among other places, his works have been shown at Artdocfest, International Video Art Festival Now & After, MIEFF, Ruhrtriennale, Videonale and Visions du Réel.
