Raphi, from France, fantasizes about romances with princes, and about starting a traditional family. But in reality, things aren’t like that. She works in a call center in Barcelona, struggles with at times embarrassing dates, and is diagnosed by her therapist as having gender dysphoria. During this confusing, yet valuable period, we follow this trans woman as she makes her transition, as well as in her everyday life.

Adrián Silvestre, born 1981 in Valencia/Spain, studied Audiovisual Communication, Film Direction and Contemporary Art History in Madrid, Rome and Havana/Cuba. In his film projects, he explores the limits between reality and fiction, staging real people alongside professional performers, taking on artistic practice from the analysis of their life experiences. His films are preceded by a close collaboration with communities, generally linked to issues of gender, migration and LGBTI groups. His first feature film, THE OBJECTS OF LOVE from 2016, which was screened at numerous international festivals, won him numerous awards, including the FIPRESCI Award and the Rizoma Film Award.
