Elena Pilar Nyffeler was born in Boston/USA in 1990 and grew up in Switzerland. Instead of taking her Abitur, she completed the preliminary course in musical theatre at the Paul Hindemith Academy of Music in Berlin. She then worked as a trainee at the theatre and studied acting at the Hochschule Ernst Busch in Berlin. Afterwards she was part of the ensemble at the Heidelberg Theatre. She is currently studying directing at the Hamburg Media School.
