Iranian short films have been an integral part of exground filmfest for years. For our 2022 edition, we are showing six productions, including four world premieres and one European premiere. The current situation in the country is treated with almost startling prescience in the works on display here, which deal, among other things, with repression and violence against women, as well as a girl’s problems with the moral police.
