A successful lawyer with a wife and two kids finally comes to terms with his visceral desire to become a woman. Founder of Joel films, she produced numerous feature films including SICARIO (1994 – which received 34 international awards), DEVIL GOLD (2001), THE BOSS (2006), A DISTANT PLACE (2008) and GOD’S SLAVE (2011).She has been selected four times as the “Venezuelan Official Selection for the Academy Awards” (Oscar) and she is also an award-winning theatre writer-director of several plays based on Kafka, all staged in La Mama ETC in New York, since 1982.
