Can Jews in Germany openly oppose the war in Gaza, or do they feel forced to support Israel, even if they disagree? Amir searches for answers in this documentary.
Amir Ovadia Steklov is a filmmaker and animator who isn’t afraid to stir the pot. His works often explore themes of identity, queerness, migration, and belonging. Born in Jerusalem and now based in Berlin, he’s a 2024 “Berlinale Talents” alumnus and a member of the European Film Academy.
Since graduating from the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School in Jerusalem/Israel in 2013, his films have screened at festivals around the world and picked up a few awards along the way.
