A short visual tale about the life, works, and failures of Hanoch Piven, an acclaimed artist who creates funny portraits from everyday objects. Piven reminds us how to find faces in unexpected places.
Yotam Knispel is a screenwriter, director and lecturer, born in Denmark and raised in Israel. He was nominated twice for an Israeli Academy Award for two of his recent shorts: for LOVE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT (2022) and for GIRL WITH A FORK IN A WORLD OF SOUP (2019), which received the award for best short film at the Jerusalem Film Festival. He got screenwriting grants and residencies in Europe and the USA and is currently working on his first feature film.
