Teresa, a single mother spends a day at the beach with her six-year-old son, Benji and her sister Marga, who is back to Portugal for a summer vacation. The day becomes very stressful with her sister.
Pedro Hasrouny is a Lebanese film director, screenwriter, and photographer based in Lisbon and Beirut. He studied audiovisual arts at AKU Beirut and earned a master’s in film directing from KinoEyes. His graduation film A MOTHER GOES TO THE BEACH has been screened at over 50 festivals. In his work, he explores identity, everyday life, and the intersection of personal and cultural narratives.
