The corners, slopes, dead ends and curves nudge us to ponder the dilemmas of the achievement society. Should we push ourselves into a box or shall we dare to be wrong?
Madli Lääne is an Estonian filmmaker and editor with a MFA in film and media production from the University of Texas in Austin. Furthermore, she studied editing at the ifs internationale filmschule Cologne. With DEAR PASSENGERS, she won the Estonian Film and Television Industry Award for Best Short Film in 2023. Currently, she works as a film lecturer at the Baltic Film and Media School of Tallinn University.
