Berivan’s husband works in Germany. She hopes he will return so they can live together. As she can neither read not write, a cassette recorder remains her only means of communication.
Ömer Koca discovered his passion for films at an early age. During his school days, he made short travel videos with friends. These first projects sparked an enthusiasm that never left him. After graduating from school, he took a break and devoted himself to other things, without completely putting down his camera. It was only at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences that he found his way back to film and post-production. During his film project BINDEST, he realised how much work and beauty there is in the art of storytelling. He is fascinated by the countless possibilities for bringing a story to life.
