June, a self-involved young woman who still lives with her parents, takes her job at the local pharmacy very seriously. She always knows about everything and has her own opinion about the customers’ issues and does not hesitate to advise them without being asked. After a surprise robbery at the pharmacy, she decides to solve the crime herself. At the same time, she tries to finally get over the breakup with her ex-boyfriend and become more of an adult. Both seem to succeed rather badly than well. She repeatedly surprises her ex-boyfriend with unannounced visits to his apartment and contacts.

DRUGSTORE JUNE is a colorful US comedy about the troubles of young adulthood. In addition to Esther Povitsky as June, the cast includes well-known comedian Bobby Lee and Hollywood icon Beverly D’Angelo as June’s mother.

Nicholaus Edward Goossen, born on August 18, 1978, works as a director and photographer. As the grandson of an Los Angeles Police Department homicide detective and the son of an award-winning corner man, he grew up in his family’s boxing gym with a camera in his hand and a first-hand look at what real drive and passion looks like. He started documenting boxers at a young age and later and scored a high-school internship in the camera department on the set of THE WEDDING SINGER. He’s spent the last 15 years directing movies, television films, music videos and commercials.
