Roberto Doveris

Roberto Doveris graduated in Filmmaking at the Universidad de Chile in Santiago and in 2010 founded the Niña Niño Films production company. He has produced over 30 video clips, videos for non-governmental organizations and short films, many of which have screened in international festivals. In 2016, his debut feature film, LAS PLANTAS, premiered in Berlinale’s section “Generation 14plus”, where it won the Best Picture Award and the Crystal Bear Special Mention. The film was screened at exground youth days 2016. His last film PHANTOM PROJECT was shown at exground filmfest 2022.

Martin Scheuring

Martin Scheuring studied Theater and Audiovisual Media, North American Literature and Economics. He works for German Films, the international promotion agency for films from Germany, and is in charge of short film and market projects, including a presentation of upcoming German directors in Cannes, support of filmmakers with the international distribution of their films, selection of films for screenings and compilations, and close cooperation with international film festivals. In 2016, he co-initiated the Queer Film Festival Munich; from 2016 to 2021, he programmed short films for the Hof International Film Festival.

Maria Weyer

Maria Weyer studied media education and media science with a concentration on film. From 2000 to 2003, she travelled around Germany with a mobile cinema, organising 45 four-day film festivals for the Bundesverband Jugend und Film e. V. Subsequently, she was active as a freelance media educator, author and moderator. Since 2005, she has worked at Medienzentrum Wiesbaden e. V., where she has served since 2012 as assistant managing director in the area of media education.
