Gregor Eldarb was born in 1971 in Bielsko-Biala/Poland and grew up in Stockholm/Sweden. From 1992 to 1997, he studied painting and graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, where he graduated in 1997. In 2017/18, he was a guest professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Ostrava/Czech Republic. From 2021 to 2022, he served as assistant professor (Life Drawing) at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.
