Marianne and Charlotte work as undercover pest controllers. Their assignments come from a network of survivors who reach out when institutions have failed them. In the process, an operation spins out of control.
Adrian Sagolla, Marius Schwingel and Diana Westphal met while studying at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg. Together with co-writer and fellow student Nola Anwar, they had already worked on fictional and documentary projects in various configurations. As scholarship holders of the Baden-Württemberg Foundation, they shot their short film NON-LIEUX – a German-French co-production – as part of an exchange programme with La Fémis film school in Paris; the film premiered in 2026 at the Max Ophüls Film Festival in Saarbrücken/Germany.
