Thaïs Odermatt, born and raised in Stans/Switzerland, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the Lucerne School of Arts and Design and completed a Master’s degree in Documentary Film Direction at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. Her films have been screened at numerous film festivals in Switzerland and abroad and have won several awards. AMAZONEN EINER GROSSSTADT received the Swiss Film Award for Best Graduation Film in 2021. TAPEWORM ALEXIS & THE OPERA celebrated its world premiere at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in France.
