A short musical, using a novel technique of animated azulejos (painted tiles), that features a rebellious Mary joining her voice to celebrated women of history in the struggle for equality.
Marcy Page is an animation film director and producer who has pursued an interest in animated film for many decades. Born and raised in California, she free-lanced in animation with numerous Bay Area companies and taught at San Francisco State University and California College of Arts & Crafts. Her first independent film, PARADISIA (1987), was awarded at many festivals. Later, she immigrated to Canada and joined the National Film Board (NFB) of Canada in 1990, ultimately becoming a producer in the NFB’s English animation studio.
