The young and ambitious fashion designer Tristan would like to finally take off career-wise. He longs for freedom, but for that he would finally have to free himself from the grip of his family. His ex-boyfriend and business partner Frank and also his father Hermann von Lossberg force themselves into his life with money and stifling caring. Tristan is working on his first own collection, when suddenly the night-blown, crazy travesty and life artist Sunny bursts into his life.

With Sunny, Tristan smells the scent of freedom, sex and motor oil for the first time. Sunny lives by his own rules and embodies everything that freedom could be for Tristan. Immediately, they would love to marry each other. The fastest and most uncomplicated way is in Las Vegas. The exciting love story becomes a restless trip between dream and reality.

Kolja Malik wrote his first screenplay at the age of eleven. In his teens, he received various prizes for young film makers. After a long stay abroad, he started working as a video artist for the theater. At that time he shot the no-budget feature film UND AM ENDE SIND ALLE ALLEIN with members of the theater company. In 2015, the film premiered at the Festival of German Film Ludwigshafen. In 2018, the 30-minutes short film STORKOW KALIFORNIA, shot during his studies at Filmakademie Baden-Wurttemberg, opened the section “Perspektive Deutsches Kino” at the Berlin International Film Festival and was part of the Short Film Corner at the Festival de Cannes.
