In present day Beirut, pregnant Layal, accompanied by her best friend, drives through the night to a clandestine abortion clinic.
Remi Itani is a Lebanese director, producer and university lecturer. Graduate of the London Film School MA Filmmaking with distinction, she started her career as a documentary producer and director for Al Jazeera Documentary Channel. Her work has been selected for more than 50 film festivals such as BFI London Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival. She is currently working on her first feature fiction IN A DREAM YOU SAW A WAY TO SURVIVE AND YOU WERE FULL OF JOY.
