KT197 is about the Hermann-Brill settlement in Wiesbaden-Klarenthal. Amidst prefab buildings near the forest, soccer fields, and basements, the film narrates of future aspirations, favorite places, and stories from the past.
Lenard Lüdemann was born in Wiesbaden in 1994 and has lived in the Hessian state capital ever since. He finished school at the age of 16 and then successfully completed a three-year apprenticeship as a media designer in a print shop. Subsequently, he studied Art at the Offenbach University of Art and Design. During this period, he developed a great affinity for videos and editing. Alongside his studies, he worked as a director, cameraman and editor for music video productions. KT 197 is his debut film.
