After completing his A-levels, Daniel Huss spent several years travelling around Europe and gathering experience on diverse film productions. In summer 2019, he realised an improvised film in which he directed three actresses performing for three days non-stop. Since 2020, he has been studying Directing at Film Academy Baden-Wuerttemberg. In 2022, he shot a short film in Paris in the scope of an exchange program with the film academy La Fémis. Most recently, he worked as a director for a short film in an international co-production involving Arte and SWR.
