This exhibition corresponds to a selection of photographs from the book “Cama Arrendada” by Paula Ábalos, which creates a visual narrative on the theme of home and migration. This book emerged after Ábalos’ experience of living in the guest room of a German family where they kept their memories. During her stay, the artist insistently photographed the room, the objects, the family portraits and especially the bed, accompanied by notes about the experience of living in a room surrounded by the memories of strangers, when she was in a foreign country accompanied only by what she could fit in a suitcase.
