When I was little, my mother told me that my body is my home. Now I’m homesick. A girl’s voice speaks about the state of her body following a sexual assault by a man.
Maja Bresink, born in 1998 in Frankfurt am Main, worked alongside her media studies at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences as a personal assistant to Christian Schwochow (whose works include BAD BANKS, DEUTSCHSTUNDE, JE SUIS KARL and MUNICH – THE EDGE OF WAR). Subsequently, she was employed as a junior producer and casting assistant, before beginning studies in Directing at Film Academy Baden-Württemberg in 2021.
