A young man lives in the countryside and takes care of the animals, the fields and his father. The appearance of a girl on a bright sunny day gently changes his life.
Yupeng He was born in Guangzhou/China in 1995. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in University of California/Irvine. After his undergraduate degree, he decided to go to the Columbia University School of the Arts to continue exploring his film journey. In 2021, he directed his first short film LOVE ME TENDER; the film was invited to various film festivals, including Durban International Film Festival in South Africa. In 2023, his short film A BRIGHT SUNNY DAY was selected for the section La Cinef at the 76th Cannes International Film Festival which shows highlights from film schools around the world every year.
