Against the post-industrial landscape of Detroit, visitors arrive from the sky in search of knowledge. They find nothing but traces of civilization, and a coded transmission between the images and sounds of the city.
Guillermo García López was born in Madrid in 1985. His first feature film, FRAGIL EQUILIBRIO, premiered at International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam in 2016 and won the Spanish Film Award “Goya” for Best Documentary. In 2017, he created ATLANTICS, a series of three films combining fiction and documentary, broadcast by the Spanish TV channel RTVE. In 2021, he was awarded the prestigious “Princess of Girona Prize for Art and Literature”.
