A multi-award-winning cinema drama from Columbia about marginalised individuals in society, featuring gorgeous landscape footage. Together, young Rà and four friends represent a tight-knit “family” on the streets of Medellin. One day Rà gains the title to a piece of land through a government restitution program. It turns out it used to belong to his grandmother, before she was driven away by paramilitary soldiers, like thousands of others. The five boys set off on an adventurous journey into the Columbian hinterland, to find the property.

Laura Mora, born in 1981 in Medellin/Columbia, studied Directing at RMIT University in Melbourne/Australia. After realising two short films, starting in 2012 she directed the award-winning Columbian television series PABLO ESCOBAR, EL PATRON. In 2015, she shot her first feature film, ANTES DEL FUEGO. With her second feature-length film, MATAR A JESÚS, she was invited to over 30 festivals and won more than 30 awards.
